About Us

The word “Prabhava” is the first year in the Telugu calendar. It symbolizes the promise of a new beginning that is ripe with the excitement of infinite possibilities. It thereby captures the core essence of our institution which strives to make your child’s transition into a structured education system as smooth as possible whilst providing your child a nurturing environment to discover passions for various aspects of life.

We know that  academic success is a consequence of passion and not of forceful authority. We believe in working with the children in our school to nurture a spirit of questioning, a sense of discipline, the fire of passion and the spirit of love. We think that these qualities are fundamental for an individual's success and, more importantly, for an individual's happiness. We thereby ensure that the school environment is based on freedom and the spirit of inspiring curiosity. As a school we want to represent an abode of exploration that nurtures thoughtful individuals and not a factory that produces labelled goods that are inherently mediocre

We also believe that it is important to encourage an aesthetic sense in our children as the sense of peace and happiness provided by appreciating art and nature is unparalleled.

The greatest thinkers, leaders, scientists, innovators, businessmen and so on were not products manufactured by the suppression of curiosity, thought and reason from a factory. On the contrary they were consequences of individual curiosity, thought and reason. As Sir Ken Robinson says,  "We have to recognize that human flourishing is not a mechanical process; it's an organic process. And you cannot predict the outcome of human development. All you can do, like a farmer, is create the conditions under which they will begin to flourish."
At Prabhava we will commit ourselves to create such conditions so that our children will bloom into their inherent potential and discover vast vistas of success, peace and happiness.

In the contemporary world, environmental problems, social problems, and economic problems are compounding at a threatening pace. It is thereby imperative for our children to have a strong sense of environmental, social and moral responsibility as they will eventually have to choose how to address these issues. So we believe we must commit ourselves to plant the seeds of love for the natural and social environment in our children through the course of their schooling years.
